"I’ve been using Avid software for…"
I’ve been using Avid software for a while now, it’s been mostly solid. It did crash on me once in the middle of a big session, which was annoying, but other than that it’s been running fine. Overall, it feels dependable enough for everyday work.

"A bit hard to follow and feels outdated"
I had a tough time getting through this because some parts were just hard to follow. Like, the explanations would jump around, the pacing felt uneven, and I found myself rewinding certain sections more than once just to figure out what was going on. Also, a few of the videos seem old — the visuals, the examples, the interface shown, even the overall style felt dated. It’s not unusable, but it definitely could use some updating and clearer guidance.

"Refund came through"
Got my refund eventually. Had to wait a bit and chase support once. Not awful. Just slow

"Pretty helpful for getting Avid set up"
I was setting up some avid stuff and, the docs helped more than I thought they would. They’re not perfect in every spot, like, a few things could be clearer, but overall they were easy enough to follow. I found what I needed without having to dig around for hours, so yeah, that was a nice surprise.

"Definitely Worth It"
The subscription price feels totally fair for what I need. I’m absolutely sure I’m getting enough value out of it. The only thing I’d change is making the cancellation process a little clearer, because that part could be easier. But overall, I’m happy with it for sure.

"Pretty solid once you get the hang of it"
I’ve been using Avid for a few months now, and overall it’s actually been solid. The tools are powerful, but the learning curve is definitely there. At first I felt kind of lost, even with some of the basic stuff, but after watching a few videos and just playing around with it, things started to click. I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s not the easiest software to jump into, but once you get used to it, it actually does the job really well

"Good idea, but the crashes get frustrating"
I really like the overall idea of the app and when it’s working, it’s easy to find my way around. That said, it crashes way too often for me, and even basic edits take longer than they should, which gets frustrating fast. I do think it has potential though, and I’d happily use it more if it were a bit more stable and quicker

"Straightforward billing, minor invoice nitpick"
I’ve been using avid for my projects, and so far the billing has been straightforward. I’ve been charged when I expected to be, and I haven’t noticed any random extra fees or surprises. The only small thing is that the invoice emails could be a little easier to read, but it’s not a big deal. Overall, it’s been fine...

"I’ve been using Avid tools for…"
I’ve been using avid tools for a while now, mostly Pro Tools, and overall it’s been dependable. The setup took a bit of patience, which I kind of expected with software like this, but once everything was up and running, it just worked. I’m assuming most people using it regularly care more about stability than flashy extras, and that’s where it’s been solid for me. Their documentation was actually helpful when I hit a snag, and the updates haven’t caused me any major headaches so far. It’s definitely not the cheapest option, but I trust it more than a lot of other tools I’ve tried

"Clean edits, menus took some getting used to"
well... the edits sound really clean, which I appreciated, but it did take me a little while to figure my way around the menus.

"Reliable, Just a Bit Pricey"
Everything worked pretty much exactly as expected, with no surprises or issues along the way. I just wish it was a little more affordable, because I do like it overall. It’s one of those things where I’m happy with the experience, but the price still stings a bit.

"Still Happy With the Perpetual License"
I’m really glad Avid still offers a perpetual license. I’m not a fan of monthly subscriptions at all, though I get why some people like them, but for me it’s just nicer to pay once and keep my setup the way I want it. The download and activation were painless too, which was a nice surprise.

"It worked fine overall, no real…"
It worked fine overall, no real issues there. It just took a minute to get going, so I was kind of waiting around like... but yeah, it did what it was supposed to.

"A bit overwhelming sometimes!"
It works well, but there are just so many features that I get a little overwhelmed sometimes. It’s nice to have options, sure... but I wish things felt a bit simpler to navigate

"Really Annoying File Issues"
Some of the files just won’t open properly, and it’s really annoying. I keep trying, and they still won’t open right. It’s frustrating because I just expect the files to work, but nope, same problem again and again

Setup was super easy, like really easy. I didn’t have to mess with any dongle or extra little parts, which was a nice relief.

"Slow replies"
The replies were slow, which got a bit annoying after a while, haha. I wish the communication had been quicker.

"Opened my old sessions without any hassle"
I opened up some of my old Pro Tools sessions and everything loaded fine, with no weird missing files or random problems. It worked with my interface and plugins right away, so I’m happy with it. i was expecting some annoying setup step or unnecessary extra troubleshooting, but I didn’t have to deal with any of that

"Pretty smooth update overall"
Most of my old Pro Tools plugins just worked fine after the update, which was a relief. I did have to reinstall two of them, and iLok was just a little annoying to deal with, but overall the compatibility was better than I expected

"Clunky notation tools and way too much waiting"
I was already annoyed after having to wait in a queue, and then the music notation tools just made it worse. They kept lagging while I was trying to work, and when I exported the parts, they came out looking weird. It feels clunky and frustrating to use.
